If Jason stuck a banana in his ear and did the hula in grass skirt, Tennison would be right there with him, because if Daddy is doing it then by golly TC wants to do it. I admit this may not age appropriate but he IS wearing ear plugs after all. Telling him that he is 3 doesn't seem to be a good enough reason for him.

Not much has changed

Cousins seperated by time and distance, grew up knowing very little about one another but enjoying the small winks of time we spent together....

A Very Sad Day

Melanie lived a block away for 2 years and now she's gone...Moved to Tyler...which even though it's only 4 hours away it might as well be Oklahoma the way my kids travel. This was a very sad day for Momma. Good friends are hard to find...especially friends who are so easy to be around, don't take anything personally, are far from perfect and know it and don't try to sugar coat it, don't gossip, don't expect anything but give whatever you need whenever you need it. I felt kinda like Loretta Lynn when she heard her best friend Patsy Cline died in a plane crash..."I can't believe she's gone, who am I gonna talk to?!" Very sad day...

Old Friends, New Friends

We skipped town and jetted to Highland Park to stay with my college buddy, Marsha Hale. The kids had a blast with her two beautiful girls. Except for wetting the bed, pooping in the pants, and the threat of vomit...the stay was perfect. The Hale's were a blessing to me and the kids for a quick get away to start the summer off right.
