Breakfast

The most important meal of the day right? Children need to have full stomachs before they can fill their heads with knowledge right? It says right there on the cereal box that cereal is only PART of a good breakfast. So I went all out, planned a menu, bought groceries, and timed my morning down to the minute. Jason and I make a good team in the kitchen. On day 3 Tatum comes stumbling into the kitchen, eyes sealed shut, voice barely above a whisper, and amid the sounds of bacon sizzling, eggs frying, and toast, well, toasting, he says "Can I have cereal?" I still have 2 bags of pancake batter in the freezer. Another attempt at MOM OF THE YEAR...foiled again!
